The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) covers a variety of issues including, but not limited to, the Privacy Rule concerning patient Protected Health Information (PHI) and the Security Rule governing patients’ electronic PHI (ePHI). The Office of Research Compliance serves as the point of contact for HIPAA training.
